You don't know how, but it happened.
And it happened the way beautiful things
happen: fast and creepy.
Have you ever seen how the wind is cut
with a sharp blade? So subtle and lewd. You can even feel a chill when you
hear, in an exhilarating second, how the empty space screams.
From top to bottom,
like when I feel you and I can't sleep.
From left to right,
like when I remember all summer scenes I
long for.
And if I continue along that path, now
you are in the next image.
And a colorful sky in California.
A one that burns.
A one that is zealous to see us coming back
home in Shadow.
To have
you by my side,
with one
foot on the ground
and the
other about to take the next step.
To have
me by my side,
Holding my
own hand
and the
other floating to count every single mole in your body.
Even if it doesn't make much sense,
even I am not ready for something like
that,
nor do I feel capable of cutting through
the air, subtle and lewd.
I am to float.
I am to set the fire on fire,
I am to -simply- be.
The importance of having something to
lose,
the nice thing about taking a chance is
not to be prepared to have it,
or neither be prepared to bet;
and whether you win or lose,
at least you will have been able to choose.
