Alison, David and a train station.

My train leaves at 4.30  5  from the
paltform 4. I will wait for you.
If you aren't there
I will understand. Always yours, David.

Alison read the note, smiled, and immediately put on her coat. Outside, the cold was so intense that she felt her hands frozen; but it didn't matter. What she really wanted to do was arrive in time at the train station before the train left.

She down the stairs and didn't greet his neighbor who had spent years in love with her in secret. She crossed the street and next the park, trying not to see anyone cause everyone there met Alison and like her, she was always sweet with children, talkative with adults and helpful to elderly. She managed to avoid the area of the playground where the children were and save lot of time. Last week she had fallen and twisted her ankle, so the pain was even unbearable but nothing could stop her in that moment. The aim was to arrive in time.

Once she had reached the train station, she had to spend ten minutes looking for the platform 4 and of course, looking for his eyes.

He looked anxiously at his watch. In just 5 minutes the train would have left, but he was still sitting on a bench waiting for some miracle to happen. 2 minutes. The guard was giving the last warning for passengers so he grabbed the luggage and was almost in the train when someone touched his shoulder. He recognized her delicate white hands and the fragrance of her perfume which got him crazy every time they made love.

When he turned he saw her mourning but it wasn't a sad feeling that surrounded her, but happiness. Her lips were painted crimson, the same colour that her coat. It was raining cats and dogs. She had left the umbrella at home, so she was wet. Two words: "don't go".

In that moment, both realized how much they loved and think again in the plans they had: a house in the countryside, children running in the garden with dogs, Sunday mornings in bed... And then, they kissed as they had never done. The train left and they went home realizing that love is the greatest folly if it's not done with madness.

  1. I love this little story. I love how you imagine a perfect love, a amazing feeling that impress every woman, that makes us free, a feeling that makes us smile, every day when we wake up and see the face of our love, our boy.
He makes you happy, and you know it. Enjoy the moments with him, enjoy the happiness. You never know if today it's the last day of your life
